Lead by Example, Sen. Feinstein et al

All you leftists who want to disarm law-abiding citizens need to lead by example. This would include democrat politicians, hollywood elitists, media hacks, and their lemmings.

Before you tell me I cannot carry a gun, you need to disarm yourselves and your bodyguards. Then, simply exercise your right under current law and declare a 100′ radius around yourself a gun-free safety zone.

Lead by example. I’ll give it a while to see how it works out.

Problem solved, one way or another.

Sent to my Useless Senators

Dear Senator:

I am disgusted by the efforts of those on the extreme left to interfere with our right as human beings to protect and defend ourselves, our families, and our property, and which is codified in our Constitution that you are sworn to uphold, protect, and defend.

Senator Feinstein’s bill is nothing short of a direct attack on the right of American citizens to be at least as well-armed as those who would seek to attack us. The police force cannot intercede until after a crime has been committed, so it is up to us to safeguard ourselves. In fact, we have a duty to protect ourselves so that criminals cannot overrun our society.

In addition, any move by government to render its citizens helpless and vulnerable is tyranny, which our Founders knew, which is why the Bill of Rights was written with the provisions of self-defense in second place. What part of “shall not be infringed” do people not understand?

I sincerely hope you take the side of law-abiding people and vote against any effort to suppress our right as free citizens to remain so.

A Letter To Gun Haters All

Dear Defenseless and Misguided,
Like it or not, guns are an intricately woven part of the fabric of America and have played an important role in our everyday lives since our nation was founded. Any concerted effort on your part to forcibly disarm this country will most certainly be met with fierce resistance, and could literally rip it apart at its seams. Anyone misguided enough to support the abolishment of the 2nd Amendment, and the confiscation of firearms from the American public, should be considered a serious threat to our Constitutional Republic, and should be dealt with accordingly. An armed American is a citizen, while a disarmed American is merely a subject.
Firearms in the hands of law abiding citizens (including most police officers) are without a doubt, the most effective and convincing method of stopping criminals (and governments) who are intent upon committing a crime. Passing laws that remove guns from the hands of honest citizens only emboldens criminals and encourages more crime. Laws do not stop criminals. Guns, in the hands of law abiding citizens, stop criminals.
Let’s take a look at the “No Gun Zone” laws that have been enacted around schools in many of our communities. These are some of the most ridiculous and toothless laws ever devised. Do you really believe that a hardened criminal, with murder or mayhem on his mind, is going to let a simple no gun restriction keep him from his intended victims? These laws only accomplish one thing. They strip honest people of the ability to protect themselves and ensure that only the criminals will be armed. Guns do not cause crime, people, they help reduce it.
A gun is simply a tool. It is no better and no worse than the person wielding it. In the hands of criminals, guns can be terrifying and deadly. In the hands of honest citizens, guns put meat on the table, provide protection, and save lives. There are numerous instances where the mere presence of a firearm stopped a criminal dead in his tracks. (No pun intended.)
In 2009 there were 270 million guns owned in the US, by approximately 44 million Americans. During that year, there were over 29,500 firearm related deaths. Approximately 11,000 of those deaths were homicides, but the vast majority of them, about 17,500, were suicides. Most avid gun haters would try to use these statistics to support a complete ban of all privately owned firearms. Most avid gun haters would probably say that at least some of the poor souls who took their own lives would never have shot themselves if they hadn’t owned a gun, and I would have to agree with that 100%. They would simply have overdosed on pain killers. Or hung themselves. Or slit their wrists. Or picked one of over 100 other ways to die when a person really has his mind made up to kill himself. Most avid gun haters would blame “The Gun” in these instances, but that is clearly not the answer.
When a person drives a car at a high rate of speed, and swerves into a crowd of people killing and maiming innocent bystanders, do you blame the car? When a woman gets mad at her husband for not voting, and runs him down in the mall parking lot with her SUV, do you blame the SUV? There were roughly 250 million vehicles registered in the US in 2009. There were over 36,000 vehicle related deaths that same year. In other words, there were far more people killed by cars that year, than were murdered by guns. You people should be standing on your soap boxes and SCREAMING for automobiles to be banned! While we’re at it, let’s go ahead and ban those deadly chain saws, baseball bats, knives, machetes, pool cues, all mountain climbing gear, back yard swimming pools, parachutes, and don’t forget those deadly airplanes!
Now, I am not completely without empathy, and I do have a modicum of understanding for the anti-gun establishment’s distrust and loathing of anything firearms related. From what I’ve learned, it simply boils down to this: A lack of education and intellect. History has shown that people of lower intelligence levels have an innate, almost superstitious fear of all things foreign. Since most gun haters are liberals and democrats, this would explain the unnatural fear and panic that engulfs them when one even mentions the word GUN!
Might I suggest that all of you defenseless and misguided gun haters go out and buy yourself a firearm, take a gun safety course, and practice with it, over and over, until you are completely comfortable. Once you realize that it is absolutely safe when used properly, you might want to consider buying some bullets for it!
I will close with two of the most over utilized, but compelling reasons given for one to carry a gun: Because a police officer is too heavy, and when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
Thank you,

Dear Military Personnel:

You place great worth on honor. Let us see whether you truly are honorable, or the code of honor is merely an illusion that has been crafted to turn you into mind-numbed robots.

Officers take the following oath: I, _____, having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God. (DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.)

The oath for enlisted personnel first requires support and defense of the Constitution, and allegiance to it, and then obeying orders.

The Posse Comitatus Act prohibits the use of military forces for domestic law enforcement purposes unless expressly authorized by Congress or the Constitution itself – not the president.

The Constitution prohibits the United States government from interfering with my right to defend myself by keeping and bearing arms. In fact, the Constitution states that an armed populace is necessary for the preservation of freedom.

Taking all the above into consideration should lead you to the following conclusions: If your officers order you to go door to door and confiscate the weapons of law-abiding American citizens, they are violating their oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies – in this case, domestic enemies.  They are violating the Posse Comitatus Act. They are violating the very Constitution they swore to support and defend. They are not bearing “true faith and allegiance to the same.” Such an order would be illegal under current law.

In addition, they are making themselves accomplices to the tyranny of a government that would seek to make its people defenseless against the lawless, and that would include YOU if you carry out such illegal orders.

Further, it is unconsionable that any officer of the United States military would issue an order for an enlisted man to kill an American citizen fighting for his rights, but we know that during the aftermath of Katrina, that order was issued. Such an order must emanate from the very bowels of evil.

So, where is your code of honor in either issuing or carrying out such illegal and morally reprehensible orders? Where is the honor in violating your oath? There isn’t any. It is a sham. The term “honor” is being used as a cloak to deceive you in the very worst way possible. It is being used to unite you against your own people.

So what is your legal, moral, and honorable response to an illegal, immoral, and dishonorable order? If you follow such orders, you may not face prosecution, but you will surely be condemning yourself for all eternity.
